HTML5 Player Roadmap

Role: Assisted the broadcast and listening teams with a strategy to create an HTML5/Flash hybrid player platform that would scale and contain all of the features needed to support the Pro Broadcast Team, the 365Connects B2B team, as well as the listening/VIP team. The new Live365 website “responsive” re-design will also be supported by this HTML5 player platform.

Roku UX

Role: Technical and UX liaison between Live365 and Roku (Roku built the app, we designed), User interface design, and final wireframe spec for Roku’s engineering and our QA. Also assisted Roku’s team with the Live365 API integration. Pushed Roku to do some custom implementation that they weren’t that comfortable with at the time like allowing the playback to continue even after you leave the Now Playing page. Sounds like an obvious thing but their initial platform did not support it (or at least didn’t make it easy)...
